Mothray Eel
Danger: Advised
Overview
The Mothray Eel is a large eel-like predator that normally lets divers pass. Its skin carries thousands of light-sensitive organs, and sudden illumination overwhelms them and triggers an intense defensive response: it pursues the light source, biting and thrashing, then flees. The log warns not to place lights or throw flares near one — as players put it, they know who placed it. Dim everything when one is spotted.
