Saturation Diving Upgrades
Confirmed effects · recommended order · no invented pricesThe six-slot system
The official Tactical Gear badge — "Have six upgrades active" — confirms the game supports at least six simultaneous upgrade slots, and the badge's 3.6% rarity tells you most divers never fill them. Upgrades are bought at the NSA Atlantica supply interface with the Sanguinite you bank each dive. One honest gap: the developer publishes no prices, so every "Not published" below stays that way until it can be tested in-game.

Prices are unknown, so this order is built from effects alone: what each upgrade changes about a dive, and when that change starts mattering. Treat it as editorial guidance, not gospel.
- Nickel Pickaxe — mining speed is the throttle on everything: veins cleared, Sanguinite banked, upgrades bought. The sooner the pickaxe improves, the sooner everything else follows.
- Pressure Recovery Upgrade — crouching is Saturation Diving's core survival move against the Crownspine and other movement-hunters. An upgrade that pays you stamina for crouching turns hiding from a loss into a recharge.
- Lightweight Upgrade — the escape button. Running and swimming longer is the difference between a close call and a lost haul, and deeper sites give you more to outrun.
- Storage Upgrade — once survival feels stable, capacity is income. Every extra unit of Sanguinite per dive shortens the road to the next upgrade.
- Fill the remaining slots — the Tactical Gear badge proves six slots exist but the community has not documented every upgrade name yet. Anything bought beyond the confirmed four is experimentation; if you find an unnamed upgrade, its effects are yours to discover.
What the badges say about upgrading
Three official badges frame the upgrade economy: Tactical Gear ("Have six upgrades active") sets the six-slot target, Legalize Nuclear Bombs confirms the P.L.O.P is bought, and Dig dig dig to the center of the earth! ties the whole economy together — clear the entire map of Sanguinite past level six. The full list lives on the badges page.
Prices: the honest gap
No verified Sanguinite price exists for any upgrade — not on the official page, not in any community wiki, not in any video walkthrough. Sites that print a price table are guessing. When prices are verified in-game, this page will carry them with a source; until then the only official number is Elite Diver Lite's 400 Robux.
