Glooming Crest

Overview

The Glooming Crest hovers gently above the seafloor with long tentacles dragging across the ground, behaving nearly identically to its closest living relative, the bigfin squid. If anything touches the microscopic thistles covering its tentacles, it wraps the prey and pulls it toward its head to be disoriented, immobilised and slowly digested. Check your surroundings constantly and avoid anything unusual dangling above you.
