Grimreef
Danger: Vorago
Overview
The Grimreef is composed entirely of Vampire Coral arranged into a humanoid form, with a face of dead bleached coral thought to disarm prey. It actively stalks divers, gives away its position with cracking and snapping sounds, and retreats when spotted — only to reposition. It runs slower than an average diver, and it is one of the few monsters confirmed killable: official badge criteria reference killing Grimreefs, and players have brought one down with the diving bell's harpoon gun. It can and will enter the bell.

Notes
- Look at it to trigger a loud bass pluck — that sound means you've been spotted too.
- Run away; only fight with the harpoon gun if you have no other choice.
- Where Vampire Coral grows, the Grimreef hunts.
