Saturation Diving Updates

Confirmed milestones · beta

Saturation Diving updates often. The developer (The_BucketHead) doesn't run a public changelog or patch-notes page, so this timeline lists only what we can confirm: the Roblox API created and updated timestamps, facts verified on the official game page, and the game's events. Anything else is marked inferred and needs in-game testing — we never invent patch notes.

Sneak peek — Water Repulsor item: push threats away with shockwaves (not yet in game)

Official Discord #🦈sneak-peeks🦈 (developer Bloogia): "**Introducing the Water Repulsor** — Shoots powerful waves that can push away threats or players!" A defensive tool that doubles as a griefing toy. Not in the game yet and no release date was given — treat as upcoming content.

4 new monsters confirmed — including Deus Snail and Scuttler Jr — as the update grows

Official Discord #🤿announcements🤿 (developer Bloogia): "**4 new monsters including deus snail and Scuttler jr**" are coming, alongside an apology: "apologies for all the delays this update ended up being wayyyyy bigger than I thought it would be." Only Deus Snail and Scuttler Jr are named — the other two monsters are unrevealed. Based on the sneak-peek run-up (Nightmare creatures, Lantern'd Star, Flare Launcher), the batch reads as part of the upcoming Nightmare deep-sea update, but the announcement does not name a release date or tie the monsters to a specific patch — treat names as confirmed, the bundling as inferred.

Sneak peek — Revive Bear item: revive a fallen teammate at 50% HP (not yet in game)

Official Discord #🦈sneak-peeks🦈 (developer Bloogia): a new **Revive Bear** item is coming — a green teddy bear with a medical device that you use on a teammate's body to bring them back to life at 50% HP. Price shown on the teaser: 200 Sanguinite. Not in the game yet and no release date was given — treat as upcoming content.

Sneak peek — tow cable item: tether yourself to another player (not yet in game)

Official Discord #🦈sneak-peeks🦈 (developer Bloogia): a **tow cable** item is coming for 30 Sanguinite — it ties you to another player so you can drag each other around, and it is meant to combo with the DPV vehicle and the grappling hook. Bloogia warns that using it on monsters is risky. Not in the game yet and no release date was given — treat as upcoming content.

Sneak peek — Pressure Blaster recharge rework: manual, free (not yet in game)

Official Discord #🦈sneak-peeks🦈 (developer Bloogia): the Pressure Blaster is getting a new charge mechanic — after use you recharge it manually while holding it, and recharging is free (it will not consume Sanguinite). Not in the game yet and no release date was given — treat as upcoming content.

Harpoon rework vote: keep it as-is or switch to harpoon bags (undecided)

Official Discord #🤿announcements🤿 (developer Bloogia): a vote is open on reworking the harpoon — option A keeps the current behavior, option B turns the harpoon into an ammo weapon fed by **harpoon bags** (5 harpoons per bag, each bag takes one inventory slot). No result announced yet and no release date for either version — treat the change as upcoming content.

Sneak round-up — Nightmare creatures, Lantern'd Star, Flare Launcher & Nightmare Fang (not yet announced)

Official Discord #🦈sneak-peeks🦈 (developer Bloogia, September 15-19): a burst of captionless teasers for the Nightmare deep-sea content. Seen so far: a hunting-theme music track for the Nightmares (September 15), a giant deep-sea creature silhouette (September 16), two new pale abyssal creatures plus a **Flare Launcher** item in the hotbar (September 17), a **Nightmare Fang** item (September 18), and the **Lantern'd Star** — a lantern-shaped item, which Bloogia says has a rejuvenating light ("some say the light of a Lantern'd Star rejuvenates and replenishes the skin", September 19). None of these are named in an official changelog yet and no release date was given — treat as upcoming Nightmare-update content.

CREATURE FEATURE winner: Rotten King — will join the game (not yet in game)

Official Discord #🤿announcements🤿 (developer Bloogia): the ROTTEN KING has won the community creature feature and "will eventually make its way in game into Saturation Diving" — it is not in the game yet and no release date was given. The winning design comes from community member DanDelie; the Great Bullet finished a close second. Bonus dev note from #sneak-peeks the same morning: Nightmare Fin has the most animations, sounds and code of any current monster in the game (more than Grimreef and Crownspine combined).

Update delayed — next creature vote after the CREATURE FEATURE wrap-up

Developer-confirmed on the official Discord #🤿announcements🤿 (Pibble): the update is delayed and the creature submission phase has ended — the vote for the next creature to be added in-game follows once that phase wraps up. No new release date was given; this corrects the September 3 window mentioned in the 2026-09-02 entry.

First official CREATURE FEATURE — community monster design contest

Official Discord #🤿announcements🤿 (developer Bloogia): the first official CREATURE FEATURE kicks off — submit your own monster design in the new #creature-feature channel for a chance to see it added live in game. Selection is vote-based: the most upvoted / reacted posts become finalists, then one big final vote decides which design gets in. Bloogia clarified the winning community monster will not be in the next update (September 3) but probably the one after that.

Elite Diver+ subscription launches, then price cut in half

Official Discord #🤿announcements🤿 (developer Bloogia): a small update adds Elite Diver+, a paid subscription granting access to Experimental Parties (early access to small pieces of new updates — clarified later that subscribers do not get entire updates early) plus the Sanguinite Modifier and Max Monster Modifier settings. The same update reworked monster sanguinite explosions. Later the same day, after many complaints, the Elite Diver+ price was cut in half; players who bought at the original price will receive two cosmetics as compensation. Exact Robux price never published in the announcements.

Teaser — 'Grimmer Depths' update and the Drownwood map

Official Discord #sneak-peeks: the next big update is named "Grimmer Depths". Teasers so far show a new map called Drownwood, three new monsters (revealed as memes), and a new death Sanguinite outline effect (shown on a Crownspine drop). Release date not announced yet.

Latest update — Random Events

Official Discord #announcements (Bloogia, 2026-08-28): Random Events — as you reach higher levels there is a significant chance of strange random events that make a level more chaotic; Monster Sanguinite drop size is now determined by threat (no longer size); two new monster logs; one new cassette tape (with subtitles added for tapes); major bug fixes. A depositing/shop bug found on the same day was fixed and pushed live. This update also lines up with the community-documented Cragmire dive site (red water, magma hazards, the game's biggest Sanguinite deposits).

Content update — monster rework and badges

Official Discord #announcements (Bloogia, 2026-08-24): fixed a lot of bugs; major changes to Scuttler Goliath (nerfed damage, tracking and essentially everything); complete overhaul of the grimreef with a new model — it can now enter the diving bell; added badges (collect them for pearls); monsters now avoid or interact with each other creating more of an ecosystem effect (e.g. Lifeline is scared of Crownspine, and Crownspine and Scuttler avoid each other); other small additions and changes.

Friends and Foes — More Immersive Monsters

The Friends and Foes event goes live on the game page, billed as "More Immersive Monsters". It lines up with the monster log bestiary system, the fifteen documented monster logs and the P.L.O.P and Music Box items that appear in community coverage in the same window.

All 15 badges created

The official Roblox badges API shows all fifteen Saturation Diving badges created on this date — the five dive-milestone ranks, Hunter / Hunter Killer / Simply Better combat badges, the P.L.O.P and Tactical Gear badges, and the three monster-log badges plus the Music Box badge "A Memory". A deep-site era arrives: the community documents Blue Hole and Glacier Scar as dive sites alongside The Flats and Crash Plateau.

Immersive monsters update

Roblox records an update timestamp for Saturation Diving on 2026-08-22 UTC. The game page's "New content" event block lines up with the Friends and Foes — More Immersive Monsters event, so community and official signals together point to this update expanding the monsters. The developer publishes no changelog, so individual details are unverified until tested in-game.

Elite Diver Lite gamepass

The gamepass "Elite Diver Lite" is created and listed (400 R$, +15% Pearls, Premium Suits & Accessories), per the official gamepass product info. It is the only gamepass the game ships with at this time.

Game created / first release

Saturation Diving by The_BucketHead goes live on Roblox (Place 83942486971826, Universe 10231678265) per the official Roblox games API created timestamp. It ships as a co-op deep-sea horror/adventure game in beta with a diving-bell loop: mine veins, avoid creatures, bank your haul, upgrade gear and descend deeper.
