Overview
The Holes are entrance points to large cave systems in the seafloor — the official description's deep sea holes. Community experimentation confirms what waits inside: jumping into or lingering above a hole draws an adult Crownspine, around five times the size of the ocean-roaming kind, which swims up and instantly kills you. Treat every hole as a hard boundary, not a shortcut.
